Some of the better sushi I have had in the city. Not a fancy place at all but it's still very cute and honestly the quality of the fish was evident. Overall it was a good experience and the service was nice and quick!

My friend and I came here for dinner on a Sunday night around 6:15pm. It wasn't too busy and we had no issue grabbing a table. We shared the sushi/sashimi combo, which came with 8 pieces of sashimi and 8 pieces of sushi. Everything was fresh and tasted good. Not a life-changing meal, but definitely a solid sushi spot!

Excellent takeout sushi & sashimi with easy substitutions for brown rice plus inexpensive salad and soup additions. Yum!

This was a decent price for a decent quality of sushi. I got the lunch special 3 maki combo, which was only around $15. And while lunch specials used to be around that price, a lot of other places have begun charging around $18 or so. For $15, the quality and amount of food is pretty decent! However, it didn't come with miso soup or salad, so that may account for the difference in price compared to other restaurants, but I would happily take the $3 discount to leave those off. Now, to the sushi: Tekka/Tuna roll - this was a simple tuna roll with seaweed on the outside. I actually ordered this because I had seen a photo of someone else who ordered the tekka roll and it had rice on the outside, but this is how it normally comes at other places so I wasn't too disappointed. The fish tastes plump and flavorful - not a bad roll. Spicy Yellowtail Roll - this was my favorite of the three. And although it did have cucumber in it (I prefer my spicy rolls to have no veggies), the flavor from the fish and tempura flakes still was very nice. It didn't taste too greasy with the tempura flakes in it, and it was still fatty enough to be paired with a nice bit of wasabi. Spicy Tuna Roll - I normally love spicy tuna rolls, but again this one had cucumber which was a bit strange. This one also tasted a bit more greasy than the yellowtail version and it may be hard to tell from the photo, but it had a very abnormal bright red-ness color to the filling. Aside from the oil, it tasted okay though, so it wasn't fishy or anything, just the color looked a bit strange. All in all, not bad. The taste was pretty good, and the price was very good. 4/5 - I'd order it again and maybe try some other rolls next time to branch out!

This spot is on point for value. Dropped in for lunch and was very satisfied with the quality of fish and overall flavors. We enjoyed the Chicken Katsu as well-- nothing special, but done right. If you're looking for a more casual option to get some great sushi, this is the place.

Definitely a great place to get your sushi craving satisfied. I ordered the salmon complete and the pink roll. All the fish tasted fresh and delicious and the prices are good. The staff are all super nice as well. The atmosphere was pretty basic, definitely going back for the food but not the vibes. The total cost after tip and tax was 58$ for two people.

It's my first time trying this place even they opened for many years. The 3 maki lunch set was okay, not really special and the price was average. I will come back again if I am craving for sushi.

Irashai have been one of my go to sushi places to go to for quick and affordable sushi. For the price, it's still good quality sushi! Come during lunch and you can get 3 maki rolls for $15-$16.

High quality sushi! We were able to grab a table here with no problems at 6pm during the weekday. Items we ordered as of 1/2023: - Irashi Combo for 2 - $65 - Tons of sushi and a perfect amount for 2 people. All of the sushi was fresh and they didn't skimp on the sashimi! - Seaweed salad - $6 - Nothing special. Had sliced cucumbers underneath so make sure to give it a mix! - Unaju Don - $25 - If you like Unagi (eel) like I do then this one is a no brainer. Tons of eel over a bed of perfectly warm rice. The sauce, rice, eel combination is absolutely heavenly. I would 100% get this again. - Hotate Hokkaiyaki - $11 - If you know what this is then this is for you! Has a nice kick to it. Imitation crab is used but for this price that's not surprising. - Boston Maki - $15 - I enjoyed this one. Take a look at what it contains and if it sounds good to you then give it a go! Overall we were quite satisfied (and full) with these offerings and would highly recommend this place!
